I give this song a 8.
His voice has a soft pitch to it. The tempo is slow and it sounds really good. The video to this song i really enjoyed it’s unique and I’ve never seen anything more creative. I enjoy the base drum that was played in the background. It sounded really good
(7-10) Iron by woodkid makes me feel like I’m doing something epic or like if I’m saving the day. The tempo was ok. I like it but i know that I wouldn’t listen to it all day and probably gonna forget about it but over all it was a good song and the singer does an amazing job on going on beat.
As one of my favorite songs we listened to this year, Brooklyn completely blew my expectations out of the water. Listening to the "Iron," I was expecting the second song to be more similar to pop than anything considering Woodkid's previous endeavors with popular music names like Taylor Swift and Katy Perry. I was pleasantly suprised though to find out that it was more than that. Woodkid's song "Brooklyn" is a song about his love of all the things in Brooklyn. Though simple I believe that "Brooklyn" carries alot more emotional weight than it seems which translates to the wistful and reflective tone that Woodkid employs to describe his extreme love for the place. Woodkid even says that Paris, his origin, does not hold his heart; Brooklyn does. These lyrics are something all Humans can relate to in some way or another, this is what makes "Brooklyn" so wonderful. Lyrically this artwork is a masterpiece, using simple imagery Woodkid paints this picturesque scene of cheap pizza and fireworks, which quite honestly brings a tear to my eye. The tempo in a way, enhances the imagery , portraying these images in a golden light or positively. The melody, though not catchy like a pop song or a classic blues song, perfectly fits "Brooklyn" since the song isn't meant to be catchy its supposed to be comforting and nostalgic. Woodkid's song, "Brooklyn" deserves a ten out of ten.
I really like the slowish feel this song has it makes it sound pretty cool
I rate this song a 7. I rated this song a 7,because I like how the vocals are different and unique. I also like the concept of the song.
