This cover was really impressive he took a well known song and made it his own. At some points in the song I didn’t even realize that it was amazing grace. The song was a 7 out of 10.

I really liked amazing grace by victor wooten because the bass guitar worked for it, it really flowed and it didn’t need any words. I didn’t have any dislikes. I would rate this a 8/10

Normally, I can't really appreciate covers of "Amazing Grace" because the song itself is, for me, overplayed. However, this song was a pleasant breath of fresh air. I did not expect that the song would be purely instrumental, which, did catch me by surprise. I can appreciate this song since, while it is a cover, Victor put his own spin on the song. I enjoyed the straying from the original piece via the little instances where his sort of inputs a new riff or melody to a part of the song where he deems it good. The amount of skill within Victor is clearly evident within the complex tonal changes and advanced techniques he uses. Sadly, I do not enjoy the song "Amazing Grace" which effects the overall score. If only he covered another song it would've gained a higher score, but as it stands, the song is a solid 7.3 out of 10.
