The song by Tom Waits was very nice. The gravel in his voice definitely gave it a super unique sound, and you can call be a Debbie downer but the lyrics I could only agree with. I will definitely be checking into his other songs, 8/10

Honestly, this song was a little strange for even my own taste. I thought the tone and feel was weird. The vocalist sounded like he had a sore throat for a while. Just overall, not one of my favorite tracks of this year, I would give it a 5.

Definitely an interesting song for its sheer uniqueness and iconic singer, "Misery is the River of the World" really captivated at first with the gravely sound of Tom Waits voice and the catchy rhythm. However, what really made me stay was the lyrics that go detail about how misery is the driving force behind mankind or its "River." To me personally I would give this song a 9/10

I immediately fell in love with the unfamiliar tone of his voice , hardly anyone has ever sang like this as far as i've heard and i really admired the change for a second. 9/10

I did not like the song or lyrics. I felt like his voice was not appealing to listen to. I didn't like his vocals or the instrumentals of the song. I rate this song a 3
